A nationwide network of facility groups
FIRST-CONNECT is building a nationwide network of facility-specific groups serving families and loved ones connected to the federal prison system.
Many of these groups are operated by dedicated volunteers, administrators, and community leaders who provide encouragement, shared experiences, and valuable information.
Today, many facility groups are hosted on platforms such as Facebook and operate independently. As the FIRST-CONNECT network grows, additional tools, resources, and community features may become available to help strengthen communication and connections across the federal prison system.
What “Verified” means
Verified Facility Groups have been reviewed for inclusion in the FIRST-CONNECT network.
These groups help families and loved ones connect with others who share a connection to the same facility.
FIRST-Network does not own or operate third-party facility groups. Verified Facility Groups are independently operated communities that have been reviewed for inclusion in the FIRST-CONNECT network. Participation in any third-party group is voluntary.
